About the Role:

The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our fundraising efforts and drive the success of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet our financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans to meet financial objectives
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
  • Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns
  • Lead and manage the Foundation staff and volunteers
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and community members to identify funding priorities and opportunities
  • Ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting and donor communications
  • Represent the Foundation within the community through public speaking engagements and media appearances

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a non-profit organization, preferably in healthcare fundraising
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic fundraising plans and capital campaigns
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including volunteers, donors, healthcare professionals, and community leaders
  • A passion for healthcare and community service
  • Postsecondary education in a related field and/or equivalent experience or CFRE certification is an asset
