About the Role

The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our fundraising efforts and drive the Foundation's mission forward. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet the financial goals of the Foundation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans and capital campaigns to support the Foundation's mission.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to secure funding and support.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns to engage the community and raise awareness for the Foundation's cause.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Foundation staff and volunteers to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership, Quinte Health Care leaders, and community members to identify funding priorities and opportunities.
  • Ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting and donor communications.
  • Represent the Foundation within the community through public speaking engagements and media appearances.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a non-profit organization, preferably in healthcare fundraising.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic fundraising plans and capital campaigns.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including volunteers, donors, healthcare professionals, and community leaders.
  • A passion for healthcare and community service.
  • Postsecondary education in a related field and/or equivalent experience or CFRE certification is an asset.
