EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Regent College is in search of a Chief Executive Officer who embodies an experienced and transformative leadership style, coupled with a servant's heart and a fervent commitment to youth ministry.
The Chief Executive Officer will deliver comprehensive visionary and strategic guidance for the continuous enhancement of both new and established ministry initiatives. This role encompasses the oversight of staff recruitment and development across leadership, administrative, and ministry functions. The Chief Executive Officer will act as a diligent steward of resources, ensuring Regent College's favorable financial performance through prudent budgeting and effective management of fundraising efforts. This position is accountable for all activities as outlined in the organization's bylaws and will report directly to the Board of Directors regarding the management and direction of the organization's activities, including its overall spiritual health.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Leadership and Development
- Formulate a holistic organizational strategy for team building, coaching, and staff care.
- Provide overarching leadership to the staff team, being accountable for organizational performance.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development for all staff members.
- Lead regular staff meetings and ensure annual performance reviews are conducted.
- Oversee the recruitment of new personnel for leadership, administrative, and ministry roles.
- Establish a senior leadership team to advance the organizational mission and priorities.
Board of Directors
- Ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on all organizational initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Board on planning, policies, programs, personnel, finances, and facilities.
- Act as a liaison between the Board and other ministries, both locally and nationally.
- Participate as an ex-officio member of all Board-established committees.
- In conjunction with the Board, develop and implement the strategic plan.
- Set annual goals and objectives for Regent College for Board submission.
Programs
- Provide overarching vision and leadership for programs, ensuring their relevance and effectiveness.
- Identify and implement new programming to address the evolving needs of youth.
Community Relations
- Develop and maintain a positive public image for Regent College.
- Engage regularly with supporters, churches, and community leaders to share the impact of ministry programs.
- Ensure timely and relevant communication through printed and digital materials.
- Present to civic leaders, pastors, and schools to foster community engagement.
- Represent Regent College at community events and support local initiatives.
Fundraising and Donor Development
- Lead fundraising activities, creating a dynamic strategic plan.
- Engage in activities that expand the organization’s financial capacity.
- Invite and nurture ministry partners as part of a prayerful and financial support team.
- Maintain and grow the existing donor base.
- Utilize a management system to track communications and support for the organization.
- Equip staff for effective partner development and fundraising.
- Secure a solid base of financial and prayer partners to sustain the position.
Finance and Administration
- Supervise the general operations of Regent College's office.
- Develop and implement effective operational systems and controls.
- Operate within the Board-approved annual budget.
- Adhere to all applicable policies, guidelines, and government regulations.
- Ensure that organizational policies and procedures are up-to-date and followed.
- Maintain adequate facilities and equipment for programs and staff.
Spiritual and Personal Development
- Be an active and contributing member of a local church.
- Engage in prayer with staff and board members.
- Participate in spiritual reflection and development activities.
- Complete necessary credentialing processes within the specified timeframe.
- Attend training and development opportunities as approved by the board.
- Facilitate annual off-site meetings for spiritual rejuvenation and planning.
- Engage in regular spiritual retreats for personal growth.
- Participate in national ministry conferences and initiatives.
