We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Coordinator to join our team at Smith + Andersen. As a Proposal Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the preparation of client proposals and will support the team with securing new and continued business.
Key Responsibilities- Review and interpret RFP and RFQ documents to determine requirements for successful proposal submission.
- Liaise with client contacts regarding proposal deliverables.
- Conduct research, collect information, and attend meetings (as required) for each proposal.
- Write, proofread, edit, and format proposal content, adapting existing content and boilerplates as needed.
- Collaborate with leaders to create technical content that showcases company experience.
- Review proposal drafts for consistency, clarity, and appropriateness of content.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team for graphics and visuals for proposal submissions.
- Assist with other proposal-related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within an engineering, construction, or architectural firm or similar role.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong verbal communication, active listening skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written communication skills, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Solid multi-tasking skills, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
