Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Best Western Plus Mirage Hotel & Resort. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account the specific needs of each group.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring that all changes are accurately reflected in the hotel's system.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Offer general information about points of interest in the area, helping guests to make the most of their stay.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring that the hotel's system is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, including responding to guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, ensuring that all communication is clear and concise.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
