Job Summary:

Evertz is seeking a skilled Electronics Failure Analysis Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic circuits, providing failure analysis and root cause analysis of defects and field returns, and setting up and operating specialized and standard test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic circuits to the component level
  • Provide failure analysis and root cause analysis of defects and field returns
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Build and test the latest film and television equipment that incorporates the most advanced components available to the industry
  • Function as a member of the production team
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • 2-year Electrical Technician or 3-year Electrical Technology Co-op program
  • Experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting
  • Problem-solving ability and ability to react to changing situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving ability, time management skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated
