Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and business growth by conducting high-level interactions with customers, building durable relationships, and ensuring our products and services are clearly presented.
  • Demonstrate ownership of the business on assigned territory by fully understanding the healthcare environment, assessing and identifying key customers, and engaging in the right mix of activities in support of assigned products while ensuring a customer-focused approach.
  • Think and act strategically to develop territory business plans, execute efficiently, and track performance to ensure attainment of territory sales results and organizational goals.
  • Work in both a team environment and individually, inspiring an inclusive culture that promotes employee engagement, innovation, and adherence to our organization's values.
  • Operate in a manner fully consistent with Organon's commitment to its Code of Conduct, Our Values and Standards, policies, procedures, industry standards, and all laws and regulations.
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment shaped by competitive activities, government legislation, clinical practices, and technological developments.

  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and clearly communicate scientific concepts and data.
  • Engage in patient management discussions, leveraging therapeutic, product, market access, and physician support expertise to provide value to customers.
  • Ability to analyze, produce, execute, and track a territory business plan.
  • Ability to rapidly build networks and relationships based on trust.
  • High level of proficiency in negotiation skills, management of objections, and adversity.
  • In-depth understanding of the Canadian reimbursement system.
  • Good business acumen.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Science, or related field.
  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Experience in specialty medicine, particularly in central nervous system (CNS), is a strong asset.
  • Good understanding of patient support programs is an asset.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and related software.
  • Travel required (>50%), along with a valid driver's license.
  • A spotless record of ethics and compliance to all industry rules and regulations.
  • Language: English and French (required for Quebec-based roles with customers who require service in English).
