Our client, a prestigious law firm with offices in Québec City and Montréal, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support teams in these locations.

Job Description

This key role will allow you to collaborate with assistants and attorneys across various departments of the firm while contributing to the management of diverse cases. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting assistants and attorneys with administrative tasks and document preparation
  • Reviewing, formatting, and modifying legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, and procedures
  • Transcribing dictations and preparing electronic procedure binders, exhibits, authorities, and closing binders
  • Performing other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in secretarial studies, legal secretarial studies, or an equivalent training
  • 5+ years of experience in legal secretarial work, particularly in litigation
  • Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written
  • Excellent grammar skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • A focus on internal and external client service, strong adaptability, and quick execution
