Organizational Overview:

Valley Gardens Community Center is a thriving community hub that offers a wide range of programs and services to its members. As a Development Director, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our mission and vision.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Development Director. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating events, overseeing fundraising initiatives, and developing community outreach programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate events and activities that promote community engagement and fundraising efforts
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the organization's goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
