Occupational Therapist II, Acute Rehab Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist II to join our team in Acute Rehab at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert occupational therapy services to children and youth with complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to promote optimal function and independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based interventions and coordinate care.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to address complex assessment and treatment challenges.
- Document patient progress and outcomes, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
- Two years of recent related experience, including one year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- 50 hours of post-graduate coursework or training related to additional procedures, techniques, and job functions.
