Occupational Therapist II, Occupational Therapy Acute Rehab Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our team at BC Children's Hospital and SunnyHill Health Centre. As a key member of our Occupational Therapy Acute Rehab team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our specialized pediatric rehabilitation program.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide occupational therapy assessments and treatment programs for patients with complex needs.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to assessment and treatment issues.
- Document patient information, including clinical data, assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in research projects and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
- Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
- Two years of recent related experience, including one year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- 50 hours of postgraduate coursework or training related to additional procedures, techniques, and job functions for assigned area.
