Occupational Therapist II, Acute Rehab Specialist

BC Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our team in Acute Rehab. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert occupational therapy services to children and youth with complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement innovative occupational therapy programs to promote client independence and participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and support to clients and families.
- Document client progress and outcomes to inform treatment planning and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of occupational therapy policies and procedures.
- Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
- Two years of recent related experience, including one year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- 50 hours of post-graduate coursework or training related to additional procedures, techniques, and job functions for assigned area.
