Job Summary

The Clinical Data Specialist plays a pivotal role in coordinating and leading all aspects of the Ontario Complex Care Reporting System (CCRS), the National Rehabilitation Reporting System (NRS), and other clinical information as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of data and its timely distribution within the mandated government timelines.
  • Develop and implement effective data management strategies to support clinical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges.
  • Provide expert guidance on data analysis and interpretation to inform business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in data management.
Requirements
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) preferred.
  • Previous database management and project management experience preferred.
  • Experience in the collection of data and preparation of statistical reports.
  • Knowledge of CIHI guidelines.
  • Previous experience with the Ontario Complex Care Reporting System (CCRS) and the National Rehabilitation Reporting System (NRS) preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database management, PowerPoint.
