Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Data Management Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of critical clinical data. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading all aspects of the Ontario Complex Care Reporting System (CCRS), the National Rehabilitation Reporting System (NRS), and other clinical information as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data within the CCRS and NRS, adhering to government-mandated timelines for reporting.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather, validate, and analyze clinical data.
  • Prepare comprehensive statistical reports and summaries for internal and external audiences.
  • Stay abreast of evolving guidelines and regulations related to clinical data management.

Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) preferred.
  • Previous database management and project management experience is an asset.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
  • Knowledge of CIHI guidelines.
  • Previous experience with the Ontario Complex Care Reporting System (CCRS) and the National Rehabilitation Reporting System (NRS) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, database management, and PowerPoint.
