About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Caesarstone Ltd. - Corporate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with key accounts in the Greater Ottawa and Gatineau regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Key Account Management: Develop and sustain relationships between Caesarstone and key stakeholders, including fabricators, architects, designers, builders, developers, and kitchen and bath retailers.
  • Develop Strategy: Collaborate with peers and management to enhance and develop strategies to improve approaches in the market and increase market share.
  • Relationship Building and Maintenance: Maintain existing relationships, develop new relationships, and network to grow market share with all sizes of accounts within the region.
  • Product Knowledge and Support: Provide product knowledge and support to customers, including samples, literature, and other marketing tools.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address customer issues and keep management informed of any issues that may escalate.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain open communication with the Regional Manager, providing regular input on account activity, including status and call reports.
  • Database Management: Utilize the corporate sales database to track, maintain, analyze, and manage customer requirements.
  • Merchandising and Materials: Monitor and manage merchandising materials and samples in the region.
  • Initiative Support: Proactively support the rollout of regional and national organizational initiatives.
  • Internal Communication: Communicate with the team to maximize opportunities with customers.
  • Marketing Support: Support national trade marketing and marketing initiatives.
  • Product and Industry Knowledge: Develop and maintain a high degree of product and industry knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in business or related field.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record in delivering results and adding significant value in building brand equity.
  • Client Relationship Skills: Strong client relationship skills with a strong track record of excellence in achieving sales targets.
  • Team Player: Dependable and team-oriented with a history of being able to work independently.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Skills: Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Problem Identification and Resolution Skills: Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Verbal and Written Communication: Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • IT Proficiency: High level of proficiency with IT systems.
Working Conditions
  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day.
  • Presentations and Meetings: Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations.
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Lifting and Physical Demands: Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Variable Weather Conditions: Exposure to variable weather conditions is likely.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $75,000. We offer a competitive compensation package, including exceptional benefits and a compassionate and collaborative company culture.
