Job Summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Theatre Usher to join our team at the River Rock Show Theatre. As a Theatre Usher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and direct them to their assigned seating
  • Regulate the flow of guests in and out of the theatre
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding resort events and amenities
  • Communicate effectively with all operational departments
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Requirements

  • Ability to work on an as-needed basis, with varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends
  • Experience in the live entertainment industry is an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service and/or hospitality experience
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Second language is an asset
  • Serving It Right Certification or ability to achieve certification
  • Ability to obtain a criminal record and credit check
  • Commitment to continually increase knowledge of products and services to offer exceptional experiences
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and achieve new skills for personal and professional growth
