Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Casual On Call - Theatre Usher. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our theatre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Greet guests, direct them to their assigned seating, and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Theatre Operations: Regulate the flow of guests in and out of the theatre, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with operational departments, guests, and colleagues to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Teamwork: Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Compliance: Comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned or directed by management.
Requirements:
- Availability: Ability to work on an as-needed or when-needed basis, including early mornings, weekends, and varying shifts.
- Experience: Experience in the live entertainment industry or a related field is an asset.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Customer Service: Proven customer service and/or hospitality experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, with a focus on maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Language Skills: Second language is an asset, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Certifications: Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve it, with a focus on maintaining a high level of knowledge and compliance.
- Background Checks: Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check, with a focus on maintaining a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Service Excellence: Commitment to delivering exceptional service, with a focus on exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
