At fishRecruit Inc., we are looking for a seasoned Human Resources Business Development Specialist to support our mission in building a best-in-class workplace. This role contributes significantly to our company's success by delivering effective Human Resources programs and services to all employees within assigned areas or districts.

About the Role

This position reports directly to the Human Resource Manager and is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and processes across all stores. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local/country employment laws and regulations, as well as excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Provide staffing support for designated areas, including liaison with internal or external recruiting resources/vendors and onboarding process.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and onboard existing employees in assigned areas or divisions.
  • Facilitate succession/bench planning sessions to identify talent gaps and risk performers.
  • Collaborate with Store/Area Leaders on employee development needs and bench planning decisions.
  • Consult with Store leaders to promote a positive work environment and resolve employee relations, conduct, and performance issues.
  • Provide information on benefits, compensation, training, and other HR programs and services.
  • Roll out HR programs, trainings, and initiatives as directed and validate adoption/learnings at store level.

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience as an HRBP, preferably in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of retail industry and local/country employment laws/regulations.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and build practical solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – communication, collaboration, relationship management, influence, conflict management, and resolution.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams and advocate for change.
  • Leadership capabilities – coaching, problem-solving, and results-oriented.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience/knowledge, as well as:
