Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Human Resources Specialist to join our team at VPC Group Inc. in Toronto, Ontario. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in shaping our organization's human resources policies and procedures.

About the Job
  • This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours of work per week.
  • The ideal candidate should be bilingual (English/French) and have experience working in a similar role for at least two years.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Policy Development

You will develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Create policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics to measure policy effectiveness.
Employee Engagement and Development

You will advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.

  • Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Recruitment and Selection

You will plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

  • Develop job descriptions and requisitions to meet business needs.
  • Source and screen candidates using various recruitment channels.
Required Skills and QualificationsEducation

Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized college or university.

Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in human resources, preferably in a strategic role.

Skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
