Job Summary

D & N Metals Co. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Order parts and maintain inventory, adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities, including test results and repair history.
  • Quality Control: Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and performs properly.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Attachment and Tool Service: Service attachments and working tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Emission Control Systems: Verify and repair emission control systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Work Conditions: The work environment is physically demanding, requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to handle heavy loads.

Requirements
