Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to our customers, providing expert guidance and support to ensure their equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical devices and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Utilize advanced technology to complete administrative tasks, troubleshoot issues, and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to promote STERIS products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve customer outcomes and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in electronics, mechanical, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as required.

Working Conditions

  • Position requires routine walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting.
  • Must perform work from floor level to above shoulder height, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
  • Must climb ladders and/or scaffolds and work above floor height, with occasional exposure to hazardous materials.
  • Position requires routine pushing, pulling, grasping, and manual dexterity in the use of hands, arms, and shoulders.
  • Must be able to work in tight spaces and walk great lengths at a time, with occasional standing for extended periods.
