Job Summary

STERIS is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative to join our team. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our customers in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation support for complex medical equipment.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and commitment to resolving customer issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and safely.
  • Utilize advanced technology to complete administrative tasks, aid in troubleshooting, and improve the customer experience.
  • Identify and recommend STERIS products and services to customers, promoting growth and increasing revenue.
  • Exhibit professionalism at all times, maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, contractors, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in electronics, mechanical, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple priorities and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions

The Field Service Representative will work in a fast-paced environment, often in hospitals, operating rooms, and other healthcare settings. The position requires routine walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting, as well as the ability to lift and move equipment.
