Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at 626498 ALBERTA LTD. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.

  • Support for Mature Workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination, provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers, offers phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload, offers phased re-entry options for mature workers who are returning to work after retiring.
