Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton West Kelowna. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Room Preparation: Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Sweep, mop, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to the front desk.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy loads, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
