About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at Wild Flour Bakery Cafe. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our bakery team to achieve our production goals and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by preparing and presenting dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong desire to learn and grow with our team is essential.
  • Work Setting: Our bakery is a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, with a focus on producing high-quality baked goods for our customers.
  • Physical Capabilities: You must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: You must be a team player with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for baking.
