Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team at Wild Flour Bakery Cafe as a Baker. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve our bakery's goals and objectives.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by preparing and presenting dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Work Environment

As a baker at Wild Flour Bakery Cafe, you will work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet production deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
