Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Wild Flour Bakery Cafe. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
- Prepare special orders and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Train staff members on new recipes and techniques.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal production.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
