Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at Wild Flour Bakery Cafe. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and clean the kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for our customers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field is preferred.
  • Work Environment: This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
