About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Samurai Sushi Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes that showcase our commitment to using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients.

Team Leadership

Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other support staff, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of all kitchen supplies, including food, equipment, and cleaning materials, to ensure that we have everything we need to operate efficiently and effectively.

Cleanliness and Safety

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Customer Service

Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role

Language

English

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week
