Customer Service Representative for Senior Communities

Job Overview
CareRx, a leading provider of pharmacy services to seniors communities in Canada, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents in long-term care homes, retirement homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes.
About the Role
As a Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer care is provided to all residents and their representatives. You will work under the direction of the Customer Care Manager to update and maintain resident profiles and associated accounts within the pharmacy software program. You will also answer client account inquiries in a timely and professional manner, communicate information about CareRx Pharmacy services, and document prescription and statement payment information.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain resident profiles and associated accounts within the pharmacy software program
- Answer client account inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Contact clients to communicate information about CareRx Pharmacy services and document applicable prescription and statement payment information
- Contact residents and/or their representatives for product payment authorization and communicate with other members of the pharmacy team as applicable
- Perform miscellaneous office and administrative support functions when required
- Complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures
- Consult with members of the pharmacy management team when there are unresolved issues surrounding day-to-day work functions
- Provide exceptional customer care to LTC homes and retirement communities serviced by CareRx Pharmacy
- Follow all provincial and federal laws, standards, and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and French is an asset
- Self-directed, requiring minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Kroll Windows application
- Working knowledge of Smart-Link software and third-party billing an asset
- Proven ability to foster strong partnerships with other members of the healthcare team
- Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
What We Offer
CareRx offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
