About This Role

This part-time opportunity is available in a dynamic environment where you will act as the first point of contact for guests and provide confidential clerical and receptionist duties associated with the daily operation of the retirement residence.

You will be responsible for answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, and receiving routine inquiries in person and by phone, relaying calls and messages to the appropriate service team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone calls and responding to inquiries in a professional manner
  • Greeting visitors and providing assistance with navigation and information
  • Receiving and processing mail, packages, and other deliveries
  • Providing services and interacting with residents and resident family members in a courteous and respectful manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, service team members, and guests.

Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory, and all applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

A Criminal Record Search which may include a vulnerable sector screen, will be required as a condition of employment.
