Accounts Payable Clerk Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an integral part of our rapidly growing team, you will be responsible for matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with internal and external audits as required
- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
- Execute full-cycle A/P
- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
- Provide customer service to internal business partners
- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

Requirements:
- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- Solid understanding of data entry
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Deep understanding of customer information files
- Foundational knowledge in Oracle
- Command of Microsoft Excel
- Detailed and have the ability work independently
