About the Role
Waterford Executive is seeking an experienced Executive Sales Director for our Tooling Operations department. This dynamic role will play a pivotal part in driving business growth, fostering strategic relationships with key customers, and developing innovative solutions to meet their evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bulk up and nurture customer relationships;
- Promote and sell company products, providing technical sales support as needed;
- Collaborate with Product Managers to assess equipment requirements;
- Develop, present, or respond to proposals tailored to specific customer demands;
- Suggest improved materials or machinery to customers;
- Conduct on-site visits at customer facilities to review outstanding engineering or service-related concerns;
- Strategic evaluation of sales opportunities;
- Resolve complex engineering issues at customer sites;
- Support demonstrations by engineering staff;
- Maintain CRM records of all customer interactions;
- Meet Company standards for topicality as per policy;
- Attend national and international trade shows as required;
- Liaise with various departments on customer-related matters;
- Establish strategic and tactical plans to achieve yearly sales targets.
Requirements:
- Recent experience in machine tool environments;
- At least 5 years of B2B relevant sales experience.
Work Environment:
This role involves extensive travel and time spent in manufacturing environments, as well as occasional visits to the company's Canadian Technical Centre. Exposure to potential hazards, including high noise levels, heavy equipment, and automated/manual machinery. International travel may be required for training or trade shows.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent: Traveling, operating a vehicle, sitting at a desk, utilizing computers and phones, standing, and walking;
- Periodic: Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements;
- Occasional: Bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching; pushing, pulling, and lifting objects.
The estimated salary for this position is approximately $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
