As a District Sales and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability in a district comprising 8 stores.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify business opportunities to improve sales growth, profitability, and client service through regular store visits with Store Directors and Specialists.
  • Nurture talent by recruiting, interviewing, and selecting management level candidates, establishing internal and external succession plans, and providing performance appraisals and merit increases.
  • Ensure all district staff attend mandatory product knowledge and company training modules.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by training, coaching, motivating, and leading the district teams to deliver outstanding client service standards.
  • Develop strategies to maximize sales potential by accurately forecasting sales, adjusting payroll accordingly, and ensuring staffing plans align with business trends.
  • Create action plans to increase profit and control variable expenses by evaluating the P&L on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain operational procedures, loss prevention policies, and human resource guidelines in all district stores.
  • Establish relationships with key corporate partners to ensure district needs are met and sales and profitability are maximized.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years multi-store management experience in a complex business environment or exceptional performance as a Sephora Store Director.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence business partners at all levels.
  • A proven track record of creating high-performing teams by identifying talented store leaders who can train and develop a cast to drive sales and deliver excellent client service.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • The ability to manage time effectively to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities.
