Job Title: IT Systems Administrator

About the Role:
Our client, a luxury hotel group, is seeking an IT systems administrator to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for providing high-level desktop, network, and point-of-sale system support. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where technology is at the heart of delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, servers, and software.
  • Maintain network security, data storage, and regular backups, while following disaster recovery protocols.
  • Perform server administration tasks, such as user/group administration, security permissions, and group policies.
  • Monitor and address hardware issues, maintain servers, and ensure optimal system performance and uptime.
  • Support internal infrastructure, including laptops, desktops, routers, firewalls, phones, and printers.
  • Provide anti-virus management and Windows updates.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, computers, and servers.
  • Track and resolve issues through the IT ServiceDesk system.

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Data Communications, or Information Security.
  • 3+ years of experience with Cisco IOS, Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, Office 365, and more.
  • Experience with SonicWall Firewalls, Mitel Telephony, and Veeam Backup.
  • Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • CompTIA Network+ or A+
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
