We are seeking a skilled Compensation Specialist to work with our client, a fast-growing Canadian business. This is a 3-month contract role with the potential to become permanent.

About the Role

As a key member of the HR and Finance teams, the Compensation Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely compensation processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in compensation administration, with strong familiarity with ADP systems and knowledge of Canadian compensation regulations and practices.

  • Process full-cycle compensation for employees across multiple provinces using ADP software.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations, including tax submissions and remittances.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to compensation, deductions, and benefits with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Reconcile compensation accounts and prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Maintain and update compensation records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improving compensation processes and efficiencies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in compensation administration.
  • Strong familiarity with ADP systems.
  • Knowledge of Canadian compensation regulations and practices, including tax compliance.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
