R. N. Apex Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage payroll operations, ensure accurate compensation, and provide excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, ensuring timely payments to employees.
- Preparing statements of earnings, indicating gross and net salaries, and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension plans.
- Maintaining accurate financial data, storing, updating, and retrieving records as needed.
- Performing clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems, and preparing period-end reports.
- Reconciling issued payrolls to bank statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Preparing monthly statements, providing transparency and clarity to employees.
- Completing and submitting documentation for benefits administration, including pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment, and medical insurance.
- Informing employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, fostering a positive and informed work environment.
- Compiling statistics and reports, providing valuable insights to management.
- Maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Maintaining records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime, using manual or computerized systems.
- Preparing T4 statements and other necessary documents.
- Performing data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of Quick Books and human resources software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- A reliable and organized approach, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- An understanding of security and safety protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
