Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting expectations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Culture and Diversity: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, as well as Indigenous people.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
