Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

At Subway Sandwiches, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and ensure that our team is working effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of our quality control standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is managed effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry.
  • Knowledge of culinary genres and the ability to maintain high-quality food standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.

Work Environment:

  • Permanent full-time position
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
