Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

At Subway Sandwiches, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights into restaurant performance and suggesting areas for improvement.
