Restaurant Supervisor Job Description
At Subway Sandwiches, we are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our team is well-coordinated.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely manner.
- Train our staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing a clear picture of our restaurant's performance.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
- Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and the ability to maintain a welcoming work environment for customers and staff alike.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train our team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
