Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

At Subway Sandwiches, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Train staff in job duties, food safety, and customer service procedures
  • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain records of sales, stock, and waste
  • Prepare and submit reports to management
  • Ensure that all customer complaints or concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
