About the Job

Fenix Construction and Labour Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even surface.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to specifications
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall projects
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to install drywall
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and at heights
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
