Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team at Correct Property Services. As a Drywall Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in various locations, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting our company's standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a professional look
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry, ensuring a seamless finish
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Work Environment

As a Drywall Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying work conditions and physical demands. You will be required to:

  • Bend, crouch, and kneel to access and work on drywall
  • Handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Stand for extended periods and work in a dusty and noisy environment
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing
  • Permanent employment with a 30-hour workweek
  • English language proficiency
