About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at TRIO DRYWALL AND PAINT INC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install drywall sheets, measuring, cutting, and fitting them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation, including cutting openings for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets.
  • Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to protect exterior corners and ensure a durable finish.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe and efficient installation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and at various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with apprentices.
Work Environment
