We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Services Clerk to join our team at Impact Recruitment Ltd.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $60,000 - $75,000 per annum.

**Job Description**

As a Corporate Services Clerk, your primary duties will include:

  • Corporate Maintenance: Managing annual filings for British Columbia and Federal corporations, including extra-provincial registrations.
  • Name Reservations: Conducting and renewing name reservations for British Columbia and Federal entities.
  • Due Diligence Support: Assisting with corporate and legal due diligence by coordinating searches such as corporate existence, PPSA, Bank Act, insolvency, and various regulatory databases.
  • PPSA Filings: Preparing and filing financing statements, amendments, and discharges under the PPSA in British Columbia.
  • Records Management: Handling physical and scanned minute books, managing returned annual reports, and ensuring accurate filing with regulatory bodies.
  • Communication: Sending correspondence and assisting with virtual and physical record-keeping.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Post-secondary education in legal administration or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in a related role, such as an administrative assistant, junior legal assistant, or corporate services clerk.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office, with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional proofreading, grammar, and attention to detail.
  • Organized: Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Professionalism: Dependable, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent service.
  • Team Player: Able to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
