Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have experience in respiratory care, particularly in Level 3 NICUs and high-risk deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients in special care areas
- Educate nurses and healthcare professionals on respiratory care best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Assist with research projects and committee work
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Knowledge of family-centered care and developmental care principles
- Willingness to precept respiratory therapy students
- Experience in a Level 3 NICU and attending high-risk deliveries within the last 2 years (preferred)
