**Job Summary**

This role is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our site, as well as providing excellent customer service to our visitors and employees. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of security and customer care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  1. Conduct regular foot patrols of the site to ensure that all areas are secure and free from any potential threats.
  2. Carry out CTPAT inspections on inbound and outbound trucks to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  3. Provide support to the gatehouse team during peak periods, including rush hour and special events.
  4. Perform open and lock-up duties, as well as equipment checks and other tasks as required.
  5. Deploy and collect parking pylons as part of our mobile patrol service, which requires the ability to lift 25lbs into the vehicle.
  6. Verify the identification and paperwork of drivers entering the site, and inspect under incoming trucks as per our Standard Operating Procedures.
  7. Act as a first responder in the event of a fire or medical emergency, in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures.
  8. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for reporting and dealing with incidents, as well as maintaining excellent standards of customer care.
  9. Ensure the security and safety of premises and personnel by patrolling the property and investigating any incidents or issues.

**Requirements**

  1. Valid Security Guard Licence.
  2. Valid Ontario Driver's Licence.
  3. Valid First Aid/CPR certificate.
  4. Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports.
  7. Basic computer skills.
  8. Must have own transportation to and from work location.
