About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Manager to join our team. This is a remote role that will support 2-3 hotels in the Americas, providing focused expertise and guidance to the hotel Revenue Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting business analytics, creating and submitting hotel forecasts, and managing inventory through all distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret business analytics to inform revenue management strategies and drive business growth.
- Create and submit hotel forecasts, leveraging IDeaS revenue management system, and monitor accuracy on a weekly basis.
- Manage inventory through all distribution channels to optimize availability and drive revenue.
- Develop and implement optimal pricing strategies, analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform recommendations.
- Build consensus within the Revenue Management team to drive new initiatives forward and achieve business objectives.
- Lead weekly Revenue Management Meetings to discuss key performance indicators and drive business growth.
- Partner with operations to implement new initiatives and measure results, driving total revenue management business analytics and opportunities.
- Engage with OTA Market Managers, corporate marketing, agencies, and vendors to manage campaign opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Take ownership of merchandising strategies, including web featured package display, online upsell descriptions, GDS sequence, OTA placement, and store participation.
- Business owner of Opera, BI tools, IDeaS revenue management system, and future RM systems for catering, F&B, etc.
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Hotel Management.
- 5 years of experience working in hotel operations and/or finance and accounting.
- Multiple hotel revenue management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spreadsheets and database use, with experience in MS Office, Lotus Notes, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion Enterprise, IDeaS revenue management, and Opera property management system.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and effectively.
- Ability to condense complex data into meaningful strategy and present contrarian viewpoints to gain consensus.
- Strong time management skills and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
