About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Manager to support 2-3 hotels in the Americas. This role will be responsible for interpreting business analytics to develop tactical strategies, providing guidance and direction to the hotel Revenue Management Team, and driving room revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create annual budgets and monthly forecasts for rooms occupancy, ADR, and revenue.
  • Interpret business analytics to inform revenue management decisions.
  • Develop and submit hotel forecasts using IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System and monitor accuracy on a weekly basis.
  • Manage inventory through all distribution channels for optimal availability.
  • Lead optimal pricing strategy and analysis, engaging 3rd party expertise when necessary.
  • Build consensus within the Revenue Strategy Team to drive new initiatives forward.
  • Lead and present weekly Revenue Strategy and Forecast Meetings.
  • Drive total revenue management business analytics and opportunities, partnering with operations to implement new initiatives and measure results.
  • Engage with OTA Market Managers, corporate marketing, agencies, and vendors on campaign management opportunities.
  • Take ownership of merchandising strategies, including web featured package display, online upsell descriptions, GDS sequence, OTA placement, and store participation.
  • Be the business owner of Opera, BI tools, IDeaS G3 revenue management system, and future RM systems for catering, F&B, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Revenue Management, Hotel/Lodging Management, or Business Administration.
  • 5 years of experience in revenue management and/or hotel operations.
  • Multiple hotel revenue management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheets, pivot tables, and database use.
  • MS Office, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion Enterprise, IDeaS G3 Revenue Management, TravelClick, Lighthouse, and Opera PMS experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to dynamically articulate and visually display data/strategies to various audiences.
  • Ability to condense complex data into meaningful strategy.
  • Strong time management skills and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to present contrarian viewpoints and gain consensus through business analytics.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
